Jay-Be Transport & Logistics Coordinator recognised as one of the 60 most talented young people in the furniture and furnishings industry.

Launched as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations of The Furniture Makers’ Company Kayleigh Anderson is one of the winners in the ‘60 for 60’ campaign which recognises 60 of the most accomplished and promising young people across the UK working in the furniture and furnishing industry.

Kayleigh joined Jay-Be as a Purchasing Administrator back in 2011 and was promoted to the position of Transport & Logistics Coordinator in 2021. Since taking on the new position, Kayleigh has introduced significant changes at Jay-Be, and gone beyond the expectations of her role. She has facilitated the purchase of two internal HGV vehicles, overseen driver recruitment, training, and management, which has contributed to substantial savings of over £100,000 annually.

Expert judges from within the industry reviewed submissions and selected the winners who were announced at a special “60 for 60” awards ceremony held in London on December 5.
